AEO certification preparation

Our company concluded the project connected with preparing our customer to obtain an AEO certificate. The Authorized Economic Operator Certificate enables the entrepreneurs to use the facilitations connected with customs control and a simplified procedure for the goods from the outside of the partnership. Moreover, it promotes its holder to a trusted entity level and gives a series of facilitations giving financial profits coming from the effective industrial and logistic processes outcome. A company competing for the AEO status has to meet a series of criteria that will be thoroughly checked by the customs officers before granting the status. The criteria relate directly to certain international standards such as ISO 9001 – Quality Management system, ISO 27001 – Information Security Management system, ISO 28000 – Delivery Chain Security Management System.

In the framework of the company AEO certificate preparation we executed the following services:

• We deployed our WMS warehouse management software and the logistics module – the company competing for the AEO has to prove that it has a high level of control over their operations and goods flow provided by the trade record management system that enables proper customs and transportation control.
• We verified the information and communications network of the company in terms of security according to the ISO 270001 standard rules. We deployed adequate changes and prepared procedures – a company competing for the AEO has to prove that it has adequate IT technology measures securing the IT system against unauthorized access.
